Adecco is assisting a fortune 500 tech company recruiting for a REMOTE Social Media Manager. The anticipated duration: 1 year, depending on the business needs and budget affordability, there is a potential to extend further with a max of 12 to 24 months! possible temp to hire but no guarantees.

Social Media Manager in this role will report into the executive communications team in the Collaboration Technology Group supporting the SVP/GM, of Collaboration. This organization is responsible for the entire Webex portfolio of products including Webex Meetings, Webex Teams, Webex Calling, Webex Rooms and Webex Contact Center. Responsibilities for Social Media Manager jobs include but are not limited to:
  • Manage social media accounts for executives across several platforms
  • Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
  • Manages editorial calendar that aligns with social updates
  • Review the success of campaigns and develop ways to improve
  • Drive engagement with social media influencers, analysts, and appropriate press contacts
  • Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities
  • Write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks
  • Analyze social media campaigns/content with tracking systems to determine areas for social media campaign improvement and to gather visitor's data.
  • Establishes social media plan with executive and their Chief of Staff to support key initiatives across the organization
  • Establishes an engagement model with the executive, executive team (Administrator, Operations Lead/Chief of Staff), to proactively manage amplification of upcoming launches and deliverables across social media platforms and internal platforms.
  • Creates and manages content for executive, including messaging, strategic and organizational communication deliverables
  • Manages our organizations SharePoint site for updates to refresh content
  • Manages employee engagement channels across Webex Teams, email, SharePoint, social media and others as needed.
  • Will adapt materials to meet the needs of different audiences, different channels and digitization strategy as required by the client's communications plan
  • Partners with other internal communications disciplines (PR, AR, IR, Corporate Speakers Bureau) on opportunities and social media messaging alignment.
  • Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Social Media Manager jobs:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, PR, or related field
  • At least wo years of social media management experience
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Familiar with consumer analytics
  • Strong collaborator - Ability to partner across mix of constituents and organizations
  • Virtual Leader - Ability to work independently with remote teams
  • Innovative thinker
  • Message creation, Storytelling, PowerPoint
  • Customer-focused
    Prior Experience Needed
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, marketing or journalism.
  • 5-7 Years of internal/external communications in varied disciplines, such as organizational communication, executive communication, and social media
    Knowledge Helpful to the Role
  • Executive presence - Experience advising/working directly with executives a plus
